Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ IT) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.
- Two years Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics as non-vocational subjects with 50% marks.
Note: Candidates appearing for their Class 12th exams (2024-25 session) are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of selection.
Selection Process for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment 2025 Details
The Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Recruitment 2025 selection process includes two stages:
Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)
- Exam Date: May 2025
- Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test)
- Duration: 1 hour
- Subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness
- Total Questions: 100 (Objective Type, 1 mark each)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per incorrect answer
Stage II – PFT, Written Exam & Medical
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 20 squat-ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 push-ups (for males) & 10 sit-ups (for females)
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per the standards set by the Indian Navy.
