Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Gurugram Recruitment 2025 Full-Time Contractual Specialists & Senior Residents
The ESIC Gurugram Recruitment 2025 Walk-in for 59 Posts has set out Eligibility Criteria in a clear manner for Full-Time Contractual Specialists and Senior Residents. Candidates need to study the educational qualification, age limit, and other requirements thoroughly before attending the walk-in interview.
Educational Qualification
For the Full-Time Contractual Specialists (FTCS), candidates should be holding a Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty. The degree should be MCI recognized or as per the concerned State Medical Council. Preference shall always be given to candidates with more qualifications and experience in the concerned discipline.
For the Senior Residents (SR), PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty is required. In the case of ICU postings, PG qualification in Critical Care is required. But if no PG-qualified candidates are present, ESIC can consider MBBS graduates with at least two years of experience, out of which one year should be in the concerned specialty at a recognized government or private hospital (not private clinics). Such candidates will be selected for a shorter term of one year as Senior Residents, with preference continuing to be given to PG-qualified doctors.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for Full-Time Contractual Specialists and Senior Residents is 45 years as of the interview date (16th September 2025). The age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India norms for ensuring greater participation and equal opportunity for candidates from all categories.
Essential Requirements
•Prospects should be enrolled with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council during the time of application.
•The candidates should produce original certificates and self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, identity proof, and address proof.
• Reservation advantages will be provided only if applicants have valid and fresh certificates in the format prescribed by competent authorities. For instance, OBC candidates will have to submit a Non-Creamy Layer certificate according to government guidelines, and EWS candidates will have to produce the latest valid EWS certificate.
• Already employed candidates in Government or PSU organizations will have to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
Application Fee
To participate in the ESIC Gurugram Recruitment 2025 Walk-in for 59 Posts, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹300/-. The fee has to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) in the name of “ESIC Fund Account No. 2” payable at State Bank of India, Gurugram.
It is to be noted that the demand draft should be drawn after the advertisement date (04/09/2025). Any application with a DD drawn before this date will not be entertained. The candidates are also required to apply separately for every post they want to appear for, as well as the necessary application fee.
Only Demand Drafts from scheduled banks will be accepted, and no payment in any other mode like cash, cheque, or online transfer will be accepted. As the fee is non-refundable, candidates must thoroughly check their eligibility before paying the application fee.
